Description | Estimate start date July 1 2023 The city of desert hot springs reserved the right to reject all bid proposals. The city reserves the right to find a bid proposal of a bidder who has been delinquent is in current litigation with the city or has been within the preceding 12 months or was unfaithful in any former contract with the city non-responsible. Each bid proposal submitted must be accompanied either by cash, or by a certified or cashiers check or a surety bond payable to the agency in an amount equivalent to at least ten percent. Each bidder shall be licensed as a contractor in accordance with the provisions of chapter of division of the business and professions code at the time of submitting the bid proposal. The term of this agreement shall be for the period when the service provider agreement is executed and expire at the end of the business day on june 30, 2026. Pursuant to section 1773 of the labor code the general prevailing wage rates in the county or counties in which the work is to be done have been determined by the director of the california department of industrial relations. Scope of work and frequency is identified in Exibit 4 but focused on weed removal chemical weed control plant replacement fertilization hedge pruning tree pruning irrigation maintenance irrigation repair irrigation system testing. Trash pickup clearing walk ways of debris and emergency response to maintain the quality of the city existing landscaping and standards and specs as more particularly described in the special provisions attached hereto. |
