319 Cedar Ridge Trail Drainage Replacement Project

The City of Lawrenceville is soliciting competitive quotes from Contractors for 319 Cedar Ridge Trail Drainage Replacement Project for the Engineering Department. The work to be performed by the General Contractor consist of but is not limited to the following major items: o Demolition and removal of existing 18" CMP storm drain pipe system +-135 LF. o Replace & Install +- 135' of 18" RCP pipe and tie-in to existing structures. o Installation of pre-cast headwall for 18" pipe o Installation of rip-rap. o Installation of sod/mulch on areas disturbed by construction activities . o Installation of erosion control BMP's. o Re-grout all exist. structures & site clearing. o The equipment and materials to be furnished by the Contractor will be installed at the locations shown on the Drawings and as described in the respective section of these specifications. o All work shall comply with all Federal, State, and local requirements and specifications. o The latest GDOT Standard Specifications for Road and Bridge Construction of the Georgia Department of Transportation, shall govern the construction of this project. Questions regarding bids should be submitted to Samantha Murray, Buyer, via email at Samantha.murray@lawrencevillega.org no later than 3:00 p.m. local time, on Wednesday May 25, 2022. Bids are legal and binding upon the bidder when submitted. Bids in the case of Corporations not chartered in Georgia, must be accompanied by proper certification stating that said Corporation is authorized to do business in the State of Georgia. No Bidder may withdraw his Bid within ninety (90) days after the actual date of the opening thereof. The successful contractor will be required to provide a one hundred percent (100%) payment and one hundred percent (100%) performance bond as well as an insurance certificate fulfilling requirements as stated in the bid documents. Surety and insurance companies must have an AM Best rating of A-5 or greater, be listed in the Federal Registry of Companies holding a Certificate of Authority and acceptable sureties on Federal Bonds, be licensed by the Georgia Insurance Department and the Georgia Secretary of State to do business in the State of Georgia. No Bid Bond is required. All bonds must be submitted on forms provided by the City of Lawrenceville and agencies providing bonds and insurance should provide proof that they meet the criteria outlined in the bid and contract documents. The City of Lawrenceville does not discriminate on the basis of disability in the admission or access to its programs or activities. The written Bid Documents supersede any prior verbal or written communications between the parties. Award will be made to the contractor submitting the lowest responsive and responsible bid. The City of Lawrenceville reserves the right to reject any or all bids to waive technicalities and to make an award deemed in its best interest. Bids may be split or awarded in their entirety. All companies submitting a bid will be notified in writing of the award.
