Snow Removal Services

For Snow Removal Services The Contractor shall provide equipment and operators to perform snowplow and snow cleanup and hauling services on an on-call basis. All equipment must be equipped with adequate warning and flashing lights to ensure the vehicle and the operator of safe lighting protection as outlined by the Virginia Department of Motor Vehicles (DMV) for the operation of on-road construction equipment. The successful bidder must comply with the provisions of Chapter 24 (“Licenses and Taxation”) of the City of Norfolk Code, if applicable. For information on the provisions of that Chapter and its applicability to this Agreement, the Contractor must contact the City of Norfolk Business License Division, Office of the Commissioner of the Revenue, 810 Union Street, City Hall, First Floor, West Wing, Norfolk, Virginia 23510. The City reserves the right to reject any equipment that does not meet Virginia Department of Transportation vehicle inspection standards. The City reserves the right to accept or reject any or all bids in whole or in part and to waive informalities.
