Description

This Construction Management/General Contractor (CM/GC) project includes: the design and construction of the new Mountainland Technical College (MTECH) Trades and Technology Building located in Payson, Utah. The project requires Pre-Construction and CM/GC Services through the design and construction of an 84,000 GSF project that includes programs in healthcare, trades, and culinary arts. Program spaces include, but are not limited to, the following: nurse and medical assistant, pharmacy technician, dental assisting, welding, automated manufacturing, automotive technology, diesel technology, culinary arts, multi-purpose rooms, student amenities, student services, offices and building support space. The Fixed Contract Price Limit, as defined in the CM/GC Agreement, is: $36,750,260. The RFP documents, including the selection requirements and the Project Schedule, will be available on the Utah Public Procurement Place (U3P) website at 3:00 PM on Friday, September 9, 2022 and can also be accessed via the DFCM website - Electronic Bidding. A MANDATORY Pre-Proposal Meeting will be held at 10:00 AM on Tuesday, September 20, 2022 in Room 219, MTECH Offices, 2301 West Ashton Blvd., Lehi, Utah. All Contractors wishing to submit on this project must attend this meeting. *Proposals, including references, management plan and statements of qualifications must be submitted to DFCM via email at dfcm_vbs@utah.gov no later than 12:00 NOON on Tuesday, October 4, 2022 (see date clarification text box at the bottom of this page). Proposals received after the specified time will not be accepted. The Contractor is responsible for ensuring that delivery to DFCM of all proposal documents is made by the date and time listed on the Project Schedule. The Contractor for the project must be a Utah licensed General Contractor. Association with other individuals or firms having appropriate professional expertise is acceptable. The State will enter into a single agreement with the successful Contractor. A bid bond in the amount of 5% of the Fixed Contract Price Limit, made payable to the Division of Facilities Construction and Management on an AIA Document A310 - 2010 Bid Bond form, or equivalent, shall accompany the Contractor's Cost Proposal. The Division of Facilities Construction and Management reserves the right to reject any or all proposals or to waive any formality or technicality in any proposal in the interest of the State.
