Bayside and Barrett Water Main Replacement, Phase 2

The project consists of installing approximately 8000' of 8" DIP and 169 service stubs and reconnects. Fire hydrants and other appurtenances as show on the plans are also included. All Bids shall include the Bid Submittal Documents as defined in the Instructions to Bidders in Specification Section 00100. The County Commissioners reserve the rights defined in the Instructions to Bidders, including, but not limited to the right to reject any or all Bids and to waive any irregularities of Bids, should same be to the advantage of the County. Substantial Completion: 610 Contract Completion:640 As required by the governor’s “Executive Order 84-9”, the utilization of women shall be, at a minimum, that currently in use by the federal government as of February 15, 1984. This requirement stated at C.F.R. part 60-4 is 6.9 percent utilization of women. Bid Guaranty: Bidder shall furnish a Bid Guaranty, in the form prescribed in Sections 153.54, 153.57, and 153.571 of the Ohio Revised Code, in the form of either: (1) a bond for the full amount of the Bid in the form of the Bid and Performance/Payment Bond included in the Contract Documents in Specification Section 00410; or (2) a certified check, cashier's check, or irrevocable letter of credit in a form satisfactory to the Owner in an amount equal to 10% of the Bid. Bid amount shall be the total of all sums bid, including all add alternates, but excluding all deduct alternates. NOTE: AIA Bid Bond forms are not acceptable.
