For Seasonal Hauling and Disposal of Leaves Services Checks are to be made payable to the CITY OF EAST ORANGE. The Bid Proposal shall be accompanied by a Bid Guarantee in the form of Certified Check, Cashiers Check, or Satisfactory Bid Bond in the amount of 10% (ten percent) of the bid. Check or Surety Company Bid Bond shall be made payable to the City of East Orange, NJ. The Bid Proposal is to be enclosed in a sealed envelope and distinctly show the name of the Bidder and marked on the outside: SEASONAL HAULING AND DISPOSAL OF LEAVES SERVICES All bids must be presented in quadruplicate on the Bid Proposal Forms provided. Bids not on the Proposal Forms so provided may be rejected. Appropriately checked literature must accompany each copy of the Bid Proposal. Bids will be accepted by mail or may be delivered and presented at the date and time set at the place herein listed above. Bidders are required to comply with N.J.S.A. 34-11 56.25 regulating wages on Public Works, with the Equal Employment Opportunity Act, Requirements of N.J.S.A. 10:5-31 et seq. and N.J.A.C. 17:27 et seq. Affirmative Action and with the requirements of P.L. 1977 C33 regarding the submission of a list of all Stockholders or Partners owning more than 10% stock or interest in their Corporation or Partnership. All Professional Service Contractors are required to comply with the requirements of N.J.S.A. 10:5-33 et seq. Affirmative Action, N.J.S.A. 10:5-31 et seq. and N.J.A.C. 17:27 et seq. The City Council reserves the right to reject any or all bids due to any defects or for not adhering to the Specifications, or to waive informalities and accept any bid that in its judgment will be in the best interest of the City of East Orange. The City Council also reserves the right to sever and make awards of all or parts of any bid to one or more bidders.
