| Description | This work includes the provision of all labor, material, equipment, supervision and administration to integrate the work outlined in this project manual into the total building system such that no leakage into the system occurs. It is the Bidders responsibility to verify all quantities. In general, the scope of work in the Base Bid will include: Roof Area A (Approximately 2,225 square feet): Remove and dispose of the existing roof system including flashings and sheet metal down to the existing structural plywood deck; replace damaged/deteriorated plywood decking as needed, replace damaged/deteriorated wood trim at eaves as needed; install new metal drip edge at eaves; install new gutter and downspouts as specified; install new self-adhered shingle underlayment over entire roof area; install specified asphalt shingles; and provide new sheet metal flashings and accessories to provide a complete, watertight, 40-year warrantable roof assembly. | ||
