Description

The Bureau of Reclamation Phoenix Area Office (PXAO) is seeking potential sources for removal and haul of approximately 800 cubic yards of sediment at the Blue River Fish Barrier Structure. The site is located approximately 15 miles from Clifton, Arizona in Greenlee County, and approximately 2,800 feet upstream of the confluence of the Blue and San Francisco Rivers, on the Blue River. Ground access to the site is prohibited, therefore, construction activities include operations to transport equipment, construction materials, labor and personnel to the project site. The Blue River Fish Barrier structure was built in 2012. Since then, sediment has deposited on the fish barrier apron; the sediment needs to be removed and hauled to the designated waste area.
