Development of New Stockpile, Dauphin County

The scope of work includes, but is not limited to, constructing a winter material storage building with a 1500 tons capacity with 3 bays (salt/mix/anti-skid), 2 bay storage shed for tools and general storage, a personal staging building with toilet rooms, and liquid de-icing storage (10,000 gallons capacity with containment). An exterior equipment staging area must be developed along with roadways, fencing, LED lighting (site and building), and provisions for roadway material storage. Electric and water heating should be solar powered. Existing foundations, footings and infrastructure will need to be removed as part of the project. Land development and stormwater management will also be required.
