Description | Jacksonville International Airport (JAX) JAA FEDEX Building Roof Rehabilitation Question Deadline 09/22/2022 at 5:00 PM ET Question must be submitted in writing to Pete Novak at the above address or preferably e-mail (Pete.Novak@rsandh.com) Project consists of the renovation of an existing roof on the FedEx cargo building at Jacksonville International Airport (JAX). Project includes new roofing material and standing seam flute filled insulation and associated details (flashing counterflashing, downspouts etc.) as required for a waterproof condition and removal and reinstallation of roofing equipment. Demolition includes removal of existing elements such as but not limited to parapet coping, ridge vents, lighting protection, etc. as required for new roofing system. Work will also include limited underground work consisting of flushing of existing underground drain lines to nearby ponds as noted in the drawings. Bid security in the amount of five percent (5%) of the base bid will be required to accompany bids. Contract Bonding shall also be required. The Owner reserves the right to reject any or all bids and to waive irregularities in bidding. The Authority has determined that NO SBE participation goals will be prescribed for this project. As a good corporate citizen JAA fully supports the usage of SBE/DBE on JAA projects. We encourage our business partners to maximize the utilization of SBE/DBEs at every opportunity. This project will be bid as a single contract. Bid prices may be held for up to 90 days. It is the sole responsibility of each prospective bidder to assure that the Office of the Manager, Engineering & Construction, is kept informed of his or her current mailing address, telephone number and email address. |
