Description

Project is to restore nearly one acre of native riparian environmental Tonawanda Creek within the larger North Tonawanda Botanical Gardens. Work to be completed involves excavation; grading of berms and bio-swales; shoreline bioengineering; construction of living shoreline elements including substrates, stone work and habitat features; planting of trees, shrubs and emergent plugs; seeding of riparian and upland meadow areas; and landscape restoration.
