Description | To provide Integrated Pest Management (IPM) for the Adam Clayton Powell Jr., State Office Building at 163 West 125th Street, New York, NY 10027. Traditional structural Pest Management is largely reactive to pest infestations and based much of its response on the routine, scheduled application of pesticides. This spraying and other pesticide application is often done in locations remote from the centers of pest populations with limited effectiveness in providing adequate management. The contractor shall be responsible to furnish all labor, materials, and equipment to implement the necessary intervention aspects of the IPM program. The contractor shall detail site-specific recommendations for structural and procedural modifications to achieve pest suppression. While any contract resulting from this solicitation will require a technician to be onsite a minimum of ten hours a week spread out over at least two days per week, contractor will be required to rectify all included pest issues regardless of hours needed at no additional cost. The contractor is responsible for the full services as described in this scope. |
