| Description | The Philadelphia Water Department is soliciting proposals from interested and qualified service providers to provide an array of pressurized water pipeline leak detection and condition assessment services, including non-destructive internal and external leak detection and location, and condition assessment services for water pipelines from size 6-inch up to size 93-inches in diameter, and high resolution water pressure data-logging. The services shall provide the PWD with workable systems to, as designated for a particular service, detect leaks, and provide accurate information on the existance, location and relative volume of leaks in a pipeline, and/or provide condition assessment information on water pipelines. Aside from brief shutdowns of operations to outfit access sites on pipelines, these services should be provided while the pipeline remains in-service under full pressure. | ||
