Description | As of February 27, 2023, the proect has been awarded. A timeline for construction has not been confirmed. The City of Quincy's MR 661 Project consists of reconstructing 855 feet of North 26th Street from Elm to Chestnut. The work includes 956 tons of hot-mix asphalt, 395 cu yards of PCC driveways, 6478 sq feet of PCC sidewalks, 416 feet of 6" water main, 1770 feet of PCC curb & gutter, and related improvements. All bids shall be accompanied by either a bid bond on the "Proposal Bid" form contained in the proposal, executed by a corporate surety company satisfactory to the city of Quincy, or a bank cashier's check, an irrevocable letter of credit or a properly certified check for not less than 5 percent of the amount bid, or for the amount listed in the specifications. The City Council of Quincy reserves the right to reject any or all bids and to waive technicalities. No bid may be withdrawn after the time for opening of the bids is past.
