Description | GC Contract 1: $4,750,000. PC Contract 2: $500,000. MC Contract 3: $2,100,000. EC Contract 4: $1,750,000. RC Contract 5: $350,000. Contract 1 - General Construction Contract 2 - Plumbing Construction Contract 3 - HVAC Construction Contract 4 - Electrical Construction Contract 5 - Roofing Construction Renovations to the existing Hazleton Area Academy of Arts and Humanities consisting of the renovation of the existing interior and other miscellaneous construction for the identified building. This project is broken down into five (5) prime contracts, General Construction, Plumbing, Mechanical, Electrical and Roofing Contracts. The base project scope includes selective demolition of the existing interior of the building, new GWB partitions, new flooring and ACT ceiling system, new casework in each classroom and specialty education space, new sinks in designated classrooms, new toilet rooms in designated areas, new food service equipment and kitchen, new power distribution, lighting and accessories, new data and security distribution and accessories, upgraded mechanical systems and distribution to the new building layouts. The project also includes selective demolition throughout the interior of the existing building plus the removal of the small pavilion and reconstruction of the kitchen cooler area and new roof work. -The existing buildings include interior renovations of approximately 44,330 sq. ft. in total. - Contractor Parking, Staging and Storage of materials will be determined with the successful bidder by HASD and the architect. Building will remain secure at all times during construction. Building access will be determined by HASD. - Contractor to be cognizant of working hours and any Borough/Township noise ordinance. - Standard Policies - (i.e. no smoking on school grounds, no profanity, etc.). - The Contractor for General Construction shall secure the general building permit for the Project. Fees for this permit shall be paid directly by the Owner. Other permits required by local law or Authority shall be obtained and secured by the respective prime contractor for whose work it applies, and fees paid for directly by the Owner. Contractors will be responsible for registering with the Borough/Township and paying their contractor fee where applicable. - Make sure you review and comply with Contractors Qualifications. -Act 34, Act 151 and Act 114, Act 168 for anyone who will perform work on school property must be adhered to. - All personnel will go thru the District Raptor System and further approved by district security personnel. - All bidders are required to familiarize themselves with the project site and all bidding documents, including General Conditions and Requirements, Summary of Work, Temporary Facilities, etc. Submission of Bid acknowledges that bidder has done so. -All bidders to familiarize themselves with the bid forms and the quantity allowances and unit pricing. |
