Description

This project consists of replacing existing mechanical water meters with more accurate and reliable water meters, namely ultrasonic and electromagnetic (MAG) meters. Mechanical meters that will be removed include turbine, positive displacement, and compound meters. Work per water meter will include meter removal and new meter installation, meter start up, traffic control as required, business/tenant notification prior to work, and in a couple instances a completely new water meter vault installation. New meters and appurtenances have been shipped to the City of Gallup warehouse and are ready to be installed. This work involves the cooperation of Resource Wise LLC, who will be assisting with each meter installation. This project is located in and around the City of Gallup, NM at a total of 17 residential and commercial locations.
