Description

Scope of Work: A. A new 1.0 MGD Firm Capacity Triplex Lift Station adjacent to the existing lift station at the site shown in the construction drawings along with the construction of approximately 6,950 linear feet (LF) of 8-inch force main. B. Lift Station construction shall be in accordance with the contract documents and drawings, be all inclusive, and includes but not limited to: 1. Reconstruction of influent gravity sanitary sewer to route flow to new lift station yard piping, complete. 2. Construction of new wet well for new submersible pumps, complete. 3. Installation of triplex pump configuration in new wet well, complete. 4. Construction of new manifold vault, complete. 5. Construction of new meter vault, complete. 6. Installation of new power service to serve new lift station, complete. Coordination with Trinity Valley Electric Co-op required. 7. Installation of all system electrical, control and instrumentation, complete. 8. Paving and other site improvements. 9. Site clean-up and restoration. 10. All required testing, quality control and certifications. 11. Maintain existing lift station operation during construction activities until new lift station is accepted and put into service. Includes necessary flow bypass and temporary power needs for temporary shut-downs. 12. Partial Demolition, select salvage and abandonment of existing lift station infrastructure after new lift station is accepted and put into service. C. Force Main construction shall be in accordance with the contract documents and drawings, be all inclusive, and includes but not limited to: 1. Construction of the force main which includes 3 areas where construction is to be completed by bore. 2. Compliance with TxDOT requirements for construction of force main by bore across Spur 557. 3. Installation of combination air vacuum vault and isolations valve assemblies, complete. 4. Site clean-up and restoration. 5. All required testing, quality control and certifications. 6. Maintain existing force main operation during construction activities until new force main is accepted and put into service. Includes necessary flow bypass and temporary power needs for temporary shut-downs.
