Early Head Start Classroom Remodel

Contents of the project bid proposal need to consider the required elements listed below, but not necessarily be limited by these elements, alone. This scope of work is a preliminary view of what the Early Head Start program envisions that will meet program standards and requirements to operate a fully functional Early Head Start classroom. The classroom area, kitchen, and bathroom already exit. The remodel is to make these areas suitable spaces that comply with Federal and State requirements. Below are the main specifications for remodeling these spaces: Classroom Area: Lighting changes, Flooring changes, and new paint Kitchen Area: Plumbing and electrical changes to accommodate more sinks, a dishwasher, counter tops, cabinetry, 220 electrical wiring for an electric stove, and new flooring Bathroom Area: One of the existing bathrooms will be converted into a children’s bathroom. One of the small walls and door will need to be repositioned to create a more open space. Two small sinks and two children’s toilets will be incorporated into this bathroom. New flooring will be required for this area.

Medical Office/Outpatient, Renovation.

Division 02 -	Existing Conditions, Demolition, Selective Demolition, Selective Interior Demolition.
Division 06 -	Wood, Plastics, and Composites, Rough Carpentry, Finish Carpentry.
Division 07 -	Thermal and Moisture Protection, Dampproofing and Waterproofing, Thermal Protection.
Division 08 -	Openings, Doors and Frames, Windows.
Division 09 -	Finishes, Plaster and Gypsum Board, Ceilings, Flooring, Painting and Coating.
Division 21 -	Fire Suppression.
Division 22 -	Plumbing.
Division 23 -	Heating, Ventilating, and Air Conditioning (HVAC), Instrumentation and Control for HVAC, HVAC Air Distribution.
Division 26 -	Electrical, Lighting.
