Description

Drum chop approximately 129 acres for fuel load reduction in mesic flatwoods ecosystems to implement fire management. The project area currently consists of a mix of trees and shrubs needing chopping to reduce fuel heights and mitigate wild - fire risk to the surrounding areas. The chopping should cover the entirety of the hatched areas including all understory up to 6” diameter at breast height (dbh). (Drum chopping locations- Figure 2).
