Description | Littleton Senior Center - Construction Management at Risk - Request for Qualifications The Town of Littleton is seeking Construction Management at Risk services. This is the first part of a two-phase selection process. Please see the RFQ document for any additional information. There will not be a briefing session for this phase of the process. Please contact the OPM for any questions. Based upon a need identified by a previous Town Hall Space Needs study and long time desire by the Town for a new Senior Center, the new Shattuck Center will be constructed on Town property adjacent to 31 Shattuck Street and across the parking lot from the new Reuben Hoar Library. The current site was chosen based upon more favorable cost estimates than a earlier study that placed a new building on the hillside site behind the current Town Office Building at 37 Shattuck Street. The approximately 17,000sf new building will be wood and steel construction built into the existing slope, handicapped accessible, with two levels and elevator. The exterior will be fiber cement clapboard and paneling, with an asphalt shingle roof. All new building systems will be required including mechanical, electrical, plumbing, fire protection, andsecurity systems. Complete site work is required including excavation, on-site storm drainage, additional drives and parking. Any questions about uploading of information should be directed to the OPM bfors@vertexeng.com by August 25, 2022. Answers will be distributed to all plan holders via addenda.
