PROJECT NO./TITLE: 675-23-104, Design-Build (DB) Services, Address Lake Nona Central Energy Plant (CEP) Deficiencies The Department of Veteran Affairs (VA), Veterans Integrated Service Network (VISN) 8 has a requirement to provide design and construction services to include labor, materials, tools, equipment, supervision, and all other resources necessary for the design and construct all the elements to install four (4) existing supply fans on the roof of the Central Energy Plant (CEP) with four (4) new exhaust fans in accordance with the Statement of Work (SOW) and other specifications. Work Location: Department of Veterans Affairs, Orlando VA Healthcare System (OVAHCS), 13800 Veterans Way, Orlando, FL 32827. Estimated Target Completion Period: 375 calendar days after issuance of the Notice to Proceed. In accordance with FAR 36.204 (f), the magnitude of construction is between $1,000,000 and $5,000,000. NAICS 238220 - Plumbing, Heating, and Air-Conditioning Contractors. Size Standard is $15.0 Million. Product Service Code - Z2DZ, Repair or Alteration of Other Hospital Buildings. This is a design-build project/solicitation that will use trade-off source selection process, providing the best value to the Government. The solicitation will be issued on or about November 15, 2022. All information for this solicitation will be posted on the SAM.gov website at SAM.gov. At the time of proposal submission, all interested firms must have current registration in the System for Award Management and certified as a Service Disable Veteran Owned Small Business in Vet-Biz . Proposals of contractors not registered/certified in both databases will not be considered for award. Green Environmental Management System (GEMS) - Contractors selected for award of this contract are expected to be good stewards of the environment by complying with federal, state, and local environmental laws and other requirements such as medical center policy and project specifications.
