Description

The scope of work includes renovation the asphalt trail throughout Commissioners Park for a complete project as shown in the Drawings and Specifications. The surety on the bond shall be a company that is licensed by the Department of Insurance authorizing it to execute surety bonds and the company shall have a financial strength rating of at least A- as rated by A.M. Best Company, Inc., Moodys Investors Service, Standard & Poors Corporation, or a similar rating agency. 3. If a bid is accepted, the Contractor will be required to file a written substance abuse prevention program with the Owner for the prevention of substance abuse among its employees prior to the commencement of the work. Said program shall be available to the general public. Award of Contract It is anticipated that the contract will be awarded in June. The Park District reserves the right to reject any nonresponsive or non-responsible Bids or to reject all bids and waive any informality or technicality in any Bid in the interest of the Park District.
