Dakota County Law Enforcement Center - Interior Renovations

This project will renovate three areas of the existing Law Enforcement Center in Hastings, MN: 1. Renovate office and lobby areas outside the secured perimeter. 2. Create short-term housing unit from storage area within the secured perimeter. 3. Covert existing cell block from dormitory to individual cells within the secured perimeter. Prevailing wages are required on this project. Bids must be submitted only on the bid form supplied in this RFB document. No oral, telegraphic or telephonic bids or modifications will be considered. Submit with each bid a certified check or acceptable bidder's bond payable to Dakota County in an amount equal to five percent (5%) of the total base bid. The successful bidder is required to furnish satisfactory Labor and Material Payment Bond and Performance Bond equal to 100% of the total contract amount. Bids may not be withdrawn within sixty (60) days after the opening bids. It is anticipated that the Dakota County Board of Commissioners will consider award of the project on September 20, 2022 at its regular meeting, and reserves the right to accept any bid or to reject any or all bids, or parts of such bids, and waive informalities or irregularities in bidding. The Owner expects Substantial Completion of the project by June 16, 2023.
