Main Street Roadway Improvements

Work under this project includes, but is not limited to, roadway, curb and utility improvements including 25,000 SY of pavement milling, roadway shim, 2” thick overlay in milled area, 5,000 tons of 1 ¾” thick roadway overlay, driveway and sidewalk pavement, concrete sidewalk on bridge, and 7,100 LF of concrete slip form curb. The project includes driveway/sidewalk excavation, granite curb removal, existing manhole/catch basin rim adjustments, select manhole and catch basin frames and covers, aggregate base and subbase, cross pipe drainage improvements, and relocation of specific existing site features. Contractor shall also be responsible for providing all traffic control, pavement markings, erosion control, loam and seed, site restoration, equipment, and incidentals required for construction of a complete project. Alternate Bid No. 1a – Includes relocating watermain out of existing catch basin and all incidentals as required to complete the project. Alternate Bid No. 1b – Includes installing a curb box top on each curb stop located in paved sidewalks, driveways, and roadway areas.
