Description

Scope of Work: • Obtain utility locates for all work areas where excavation will occur. • Mobilize to jobsite. • Provide Maintenance of Traffic • Clear and grub right of way to limits of construction as required to perform work. • Clip Road edge. Dispose of clippings. Remove old asphalt curbs. • Provide Leveling for potholes. • Provide a ½” asphalt leveling course and a 1 ½ of asphalt overlay. • Provide a 20’ asphalt overlay apron at each intersecting street. • Mill transitions of asphalt overlay to match existing roadways. • Exercise care when working in close proximity to existing utility facilities. • Properly dispose of excess material from project site. • Provide proper maintenance of traffic (MOT) at all times. All work adjacent to State or County roads must provide MOT satisfactory to those agencies. • Demobilize from jobsite. • Provide temporary striping of all stop bars. • Sod all disturbed areas with centipede sod or match ST. Augustine with sod where it applies. • Sweep the construction limits of the roadway at the end of each day. • Perform additional work task as listed below. • Contractor to field verify all dimensions and scope requirements. Work Location: • The base bid work location is within the NW 144 ST and NW 143 PL right of way bounded by NW 150 AV and NW 146 TER. • The alternate bid work location is within the NW 147 AV right of way bounded by NW 144 ST and 1, 460’ to terminus. • See drawings for actual work locations.
