Description | **Bids rejected and project will not be moving forward** The City of Missouri City intends to award to one contractor the complete construction of improvements to intersections along Sienna Parkway as indicated in the plan set. Including, but not limited to, concrete and asphalt road paving, underground utilities, traffic signal modifications and associated grading and landscaping. The successful contractor shall provide all labor, materials and transportation necessary to perform the work under this contract per specifications. Work hours for awarded contractor will be limited to the time between 9am to 3pm seven days a week. This project will be managed by the City of Missouri City Public Works and Traffic Operations Staff. Q & A deadline: May 11, 2022 4:00:00 PM MDT construction will take place in multiple intersection locations along Sienna Parkway starting from Sienna Ranch Road to Sienna Springs Boulevard. The sections to be constructed, from south to north, include the following: 1. Sienna Parkway @ McKeever Road 2. Sienna Parkway @ Sienna Ranch Road 3. Sienna Parkway @ Harvest Market 4. Sienna Parkway @ Watts Plantation 5. Sienna Parkway @ Sienna Springs Boulevard Construction of section 1 will take place at the intersection of Sienna Parkway @ McKeever Road. This section of the project includes adding a left turn southbound into McKeever Road and a dedicated right turn lane northbound into McKeever Road. Roadway improvements will consist of 8" concrete pavement and 8" lime stabilized subgrade. Drainage improvements include regrading ditches. Traffic signal modifications will also occur at the Sienna Ranch intersection. Construction of section 2 will begin at the intersection of Sienna Parkway @ Sienna Circle/Silver Ridge Boulevard and end 300' North of Sienna Ranch Road. This section of the project includes widening Sienna Parkway Southbound and improving the intersection at Sienna Ranch to include an additional left turn lane southbound and providing additional storage for two left turn lanes northbound. Roadway improvements will consist of 8" concrete pavement and 8" lime stabilized subgrade. Drainage improvements include regrading of ditches and extending existing culverts. Traffic signal modifications will also occur at the Sienna Ranch intersection. Construction of Section 3 begins about 500' North of Sienna Ranch Road. This section includes adding a left turn lane at the Harvest Market shopping center. Roadway improvements will consist of 8" concrete pavement and 8" lime stabilized subgrade. Construction of section 4 will begin 430' south of Avalon Plantation Drive and end 200' South of Fort Parkway Toll Road. This section includes Widening southbound within said limits to provide a through lane until Avalon Plantation Drive and a dedicated left turn lane to Watts Plantation Road. The roadway improvements will consist of 8" concrete pavement and 8" lime stabilized subgrade. Traffic signal modifications will also occur at the Watts Plantation intersection.
