Description | The University of Cincinnati is seeking proposals to provide Construction Manager at Risk services for the renovation of Siddall Hall. Siddall Hall, a 12-story concrete-framed high-rise residence hall built in 1964 and located on the Uptown West Campus, will undergo a fully vacated, comprehensive renovation. This renovation will be similar in scope to other recently completed high-rise residence hall renovations, including Scioto and Morgens Halls, as well as the ongoing renovation project of nearby Calhoun Hall. All MEP infrastructure and interior architecture and finishes will be gutted/removed and replaced. Additionally, the original brick and curtainwall exterior envelope will be redesigned and replaced. As implemented with the Calhoun Hall project, floor plan changes will focus on improving public/shared core spaces and amenities. The extension of the floor plates to the east and west is envisioned to maintain student room size standards while accommodating the enlarged core. Exterior public courtyards will also be upgraded. Related, but not impacted by this project, is a comprehensive interior renovation of the upper level of Market Pointe Dining Hall. This project is currently in the design phase, and construction on that project is scheduled to occur between February 2023 - December 2022. Total Project Cost $60,500,000 State Funding $0 Construction Cost $45,375,000 Other Funding $60,500,000 Submit all questions regarding this RFQ in writing to Michael Myres at michael.myres@uc.edu with the project number included in the subject line (no phone calls please). Questions will be answered and posted to Opportunities page on the OFCC website at https://ofcc.ohio.gov on a regular basis until one week before the response deadline. |
