Description

The City of Boston (City), acting by and through its Mayor's Office of Housing (the Official), invites sealed bids for the performance of the work generally described above, and particularly set forth in the Invitation For Bid which may be obtained electronically on the City's Purchasing website, Supplier Portal. Invitation for Bids shall be available until the time of bid opening. To access details for this specific event, or to respond through electronic format, please visit the City of Boston Supplier Portal and access Event #EV000011148. The attention of all bidders is directed to the provisions of the Invitation For Bids and contract documents, specifically to the requirements for bid deposits, insurance and performance bonds as may be applicable. The contract awarded pursuant to this Invitation For Bids shall be for a term of 36 months, commencing on or about November 1, 2022 to June 1, 2025. The award of any contract shall be subject to the approval of the Mayor of Boston and the Public Facilities Commission and will be awarded by the Director of the Mayor's Office of Housing. The maxi- mum time for bid acceptance by the City after the opening of bids shall be sixty (60) days. The City and the Official reserve the right to reject any or all bids, or any item or times thereof. The contract will be awarded to the responsive and responsible bidders offering the best price. Bids shall be submitted in accordance with the Invitation For Bids. All bids for this project are subject to M.G.L. c. 30B and in accordance with the terms and provisions of the contract documents. PLEASE NOTE: In order to participate in these online procurement activities Bidders must register with the Supplier Portal at First-Time Vendors, i.e., those who have never contracted with the City or, if so, not for many years, will be required to obtain login credentials, a process which is subject to administrative delays. MOH recommends that First-Time Vendors submit a hardcopy bid at the MOH Bid Counter, yet still register with the Supplier Portal so as to be prepared for future IFBs. Sheila A.
