Description

The project is located approximately 12 miles southwest of Red Cliff, Colorado. The Homestake Collection System includes the approximately 7100ft long Missouri Tunnel between Missouri Creek and Homestake Reservoir. The tunnel is a Horseshoe section of nominal 13’ dimension and is primarily unsupported and unlined in rock. The intent of this contract is to rehabilitate the Missouri Tunnel to maximize operational reliability and extend the service life of this structure. The project will require expertise and experience in multiple areas including rock stabilization, construction of reinforced concrete and shotcrete, and working in a high elevation remote location.
