Description | The City of Tallahassee (Owner) will construct a new fire station and community resilience center on the former Lake Bradford Road Wastewater Treatment Facility located at 1815 Lake Bradford Road in Tallahassee, Florida. The estimated occupancy date is 2024. The City is considering the services of a Construction Management Firm At Risk (CM/GC) for the Project. In addition to managing the construction, the CM/GC will provide technical review, cost evaluation and schedule evaluation assistance to the architectural/engineering team during the design phase. Bid #RFQUAL-026-22-CC - Construction Management at Risk for Fire Station 17 and Resilience Center The City of Tallahassee (Owner) will construct a new fire station and community resilience center on the former Lake Bradford Road Wastewater Treatment Facility located at 1815 Lake Bradford Road in Tallahassee, Florida. The estimated occupancy date is 2024. The City is considering the services of a Construction Management Firm At Risk (CM/GC) for the Project. In addition to managing the construction, the CM/GC will provide technical review, cost evaluation and schedule evaluation assistance to the architectural/engineering team during the design phase. CM/GC will assume responsibility for project construction cost by issuing a Guaranteed Maximum Price (GMP) not later than 80% through the design phase. The GMP will be a contractual obligation. CM/GC will also develop an overall project schedule, which will be a contractual obligation. In addition, CM/GC will be responsible for methods of construction, safety, and the scheduling and coordination of the work of all construction and miscellaneous contracts required for completion of the project within its predetermined budget and schedule. The CM/GC will be expected to work closely during the design, pricing, permitting and construction phases with the contracted architectural design firm chosen by the City.
