| Description | Display Tank Build, Shipping, and Install, Woods Hole Science Aquarium. This procurement is for construction and installation of a large fish display tank in the main gallery of our marine aquarium. The current aquarium space was completed in the early 1960s and this tank has never been replaced. No filtration or pumps are needed. Tank will be plumbed into the existing aquarium saltwater system. We use a semi-closed system, outflows are gravity fed. Tank water temperatures range between 62° and 78° Fahrenheit, year round. Room temperature range is 68° to 72° Fahrenheit. The old tank has been removed, so no demolition is required. The government will plumb the new tank into the existing aquarium saltwater system |
