Denton Road Water Main Reconstruction Project

Project located at Old Michigan Avenue East of Rawsonville Road and South of Michigan Avenue and at the Denton Road and US-12 Intersection in Van Buren Township, MI. The approximate quantities of the major items of Work are: • Provide Maintenance of Traffic. • Furnish and install Soil Erosion and Sedimentation Control measures (silt fence and inlet protection, 265 ft. and 6 ea., respectively). • Install new 12” ductile iron water main, approximately 54 ft. • Install new 12” HDPE water main, directionally drilled, approximately 219 ft. • Install new 12” ductile water main with nitrile gaskets, approximately 123 ft. • Install clay plug around water main, approximately 20 ft. • Install new hydrant and new gate valve and well (1 ea. and 2 ea. respectively). • Repair existing HMA pavement following Wayne County Standards, approximately 108 sq. yd. • Provide topsoil, seed, fertilizer and mulch blanket.
