Description

Location:The project is located on M-39 (Southfield Freeway) from M-153 (Ford Road) to McNichols Road in the cities of Dearborn and Detroit. This project is a 4R complete reconstruction of this segment of the M-39 freeway and all ramps within the project limits, excluding the I-96 interchange. This includes complete removal and replacement of the existing mainline and ramp pavements, replacement of median barrier wall with single face concrete barrier walls on both bounds, modification/replacement of service road separation walls, storm sewer replacement with an oversized dual trunk line system under both bounds, analyze the incoming discharge to each pump station relative to the pumping discharge rate, replacement of raised outside shoulders with flush shoulders, replacement of bridge filler wall, as well as freeway lighting, signing, permanent pavement marking, landscaping, and other miscellaneous work.
