Coat Roof Building 11 - 14 and Reroof Media Center Canopies

1. Buildings 11, 12 and 14 Roofs: a. Clean all roof areas and apply a fluid-applied finish coating system on the sloped standing seam metal roof assemblies where indicated. b. Extend fluid-applied finish coating system over vertical roof/wall panels at roof edge/fascia areas. c. Clean gable end wall panels. Do not apply coatings to these areas (See Section 012300 - Alternates). d. Replace metal drip edge and soffit trim flashing at building fascia/overhang soffit areas where deteriorated or where indicated on the drawings. In general, existing metal soffit panels at overhang areas are not included in the scope of work and shall remain in place. e. Replace the metal flashing at all locations where the existing aluminum walkway canopies attached to the buildings. In general, the aluminum walkway canopies are not included in the scope of work. f. Remove existing gutters and downspouts and install new metal gutters and downspouts where indicated. g. Replace damaged or deteriorated roof penetration flashings. h. Seal around existing roof penetration flashings as indicated. i. Seal around existing wall penetrations as indicated. 2. Media Center Canopies Roof: a. Remove the existing modified bitumen roof system down to the existing wood deck and install new single ply roof system as indicated. b. Remove and replace wood framing elements and plywood decking where deteriorated. c. Remove and replace isolated areas of the asp
