Drainage Project

Installation of 2 new 15” HDPE cross pipes with stacked stone headwalls and endwalls. Create dry wells at outlet of pipes using non-woven geotextile fabric and 4”- stone on 3rd Ave. Replace existing driveway pipe on 3rd Ave. with 15” HDPE pipe, include stacked stone headwalls and endwalls, and create asphalt apron with swale across driveway to divert water to the ditch line. Removal existing pavement on 3rd Ave. for approximately 360’, create underdrains for 1, possibly 2 spring seeps under road using 6” perforated underdrain and 2A aggregate Repave 360’ at a 12’ cartway on 3rd Ave Line approximately 150’ of ditch with geotextile fabric and fill with R-3 riprap along 3rd Ave. Replace existing catch basin at corner of 3rd Ave. and Pierce St. with an as built basin. Existing pipes will remain Line approximately 300’ of ditch with geotextile fabric and fill with R-3 riprap along Pierce St. Create ditch along bank at upper driveway on Pierce St. to carry water away from roadway Install new 15” HPDE pipe in upper driveway on Pierce St. Include stacked stone headwalls and endwalls and create asphalt apron with swale to divert water to the ditch line. Seed and Mulch all disturbed areas.
