Provide Environmental Waste Removal and Preventative Maintenance of Underground Pits, Drains and Oil/Water Separators

Work includes removal of fluids and solids from DTC facilities classified as Non-Hazardous Waste specified under DNREC Regulation 261.3, statewide in New Castle, Kent and Sussex counties. Services shall include but not be limited to the removal of solids and/or liquids from bus washer reclaim water systems, oil/water separators, vehicle lift bay pits, parking lot filtration systems and storm drains. Contract will also include removal of used bulk engine oil, drums of used automotive fluids, sludge and absorbent materials, and used empty 55-gallon drums. DTC does not generate any hazardous waste at this time; however, contamination of fluids may cause some fluids to be classified as Hazardous Waste specified under DNREC Regulation 261.3. The contractor must maintain up-to-date records and information in accordance with State, Federal and Local requirements that pertain to the handling, removal, transport and disposal of all types of waste products identified in this contract. All items must be transported to an appropriate disposal facility, and receipts and permits (when applicable) must be provided to DTC for each disposal transaction.
