Description

It is the intention of the City of Syracuse Department of Public Works to augment, add to and or complement existing City of Syracuse Snow removal operations with the addition of "outside" contractors. Contractors proposing their services under this contract would be expected to provide the Commissioner with a detailed list of Trucks, i.e. 4x4's, 10 wheelers and or 6 wheelers all equipped with hydraulic nose and wing plows. A City of Syracuse supplied GPS system, capable of monitoring location and speed. This is the standard by which the "existing City DPW Fleet operates".
