Description | Sealed bids addressed to the City of Bay City, City Secretary, at 1901 5th Street, Bay City, TX 77414, will be received for furnishing all plant, labor, material and equipment, and performing all work required for the construction of the North Street Drainage Improvements Project. The envelope containing the bid shall be sealed and clearly marked: "Bid for North Street Drainage Improvements Project. Bidders must periodically check with the Engineer and/or this webpage for modifications to bid specifications. Plans and specifications may be inspected at the above office and at the Office of the Director of Public Works, 1217 Avenue J, Bay City, TX 77414. The City reserves the right to waive any informality or to reject any or all bids. All provisions in Respondent's proposal, including any estimated or projected costs, shall remain valid for sixty (60) days following the deadline date for submissions or, if a proposal is accepted, throughout the entire term of the contract. Bids may be withdrawn any time before Bid opening, but may not be resubmitted. Bids may not be withdrawn after Bid opening time unless the award of the Contract has been delayed more than sixty (60) days. All proposals become the property of the City upon receipt and will not be returned. Any information deemed to be confidential by Respondent should be clearly noted on the page(s) where confidential information is contained; however, the Parties understand that under the Texas Public Information Act, a Court order or the Texas Attorney General may compel the City to disclose all or part of any public record not considered confidential under Texas law. Each bidder must deposit with its bid, security in the amount, form and conditions described in Instructions to Bidders. |
