Description | Scope of Work: A.Annual inspections of waterslides and water features for safety, functionality, and aesthetics shall be completed prior to maintenance work beginning. 1.Inspect slides (while running) for leaks, gasket failures, missing/damaged caulk lines, etc. 2.Inspect slides for proper alignment at ridges/flanges creating a smooth ride for users. 3.Inspect the state of the fiberglass/gel coat of the slides for cracks, chips, and breaks. 4.Inspect the stairs, walkways, handrails, and landings for safety issues, and general appearance. 5.Inspect slides for overall safety of ride and any other relevant findings not listed above that pertain to industry standard. 6.Inspect all hardware for loose/missing connectors. 7.Inspect all connection points for proper operations (attachment points, grease fittings, bushings, etc.) 8.Provide a written inspection report within two (2) working days of completion for each facility detailing the initial findings, recommendations for remedial work, and a quote for extra work to be performed. 9.Pressure wash interior and exterior of slide to remove dirt, oxidation, etc. from fiberglass surface. 10.Wax the interior of slide, paying special attention to the ride surface. 11.Buff the interior of the slide, paying special attention to the ride surface. 12.Chemicals used during this process shall not be allowed to enter the body of water. Remove any residual unused wax. 13.Length and size of slide varies from facility to facility. 14.All work done shall follow the proper procedures and techniques as directed by the manufacturers of the equipment and the products being used. 15.The Contractor shall provide the Parks Contract Representative with Safety Data Sheets (SDS) and on all products prior to their use. 16. Warranty: all work performed shall be warrantied for a period of one (1) year. |
