Description | The Capital District Transportation Committee (CDTC) is the designated Metropolitan Planning Organization (MPO) carrying out federal requirements for cooperative transportation planning and programming within the metropolitan area surrounding the Albany-Schenectady and Saratoga Springs urbanized areas. CDTC has budgeted up to $110,000 for Municipal ADA Self-Evaluations and Transition Plans for Pedestrian Infrastructure. Facilitating Transition Plans is a strategy in CDTC's Coordinated Public Transit - Human Services Transportation Plan for the Capital District, which is part of New Visions 2050, the long range transportation plan for the Capital Region. The contract will span one year, with an option to extend for one additional year, upon mutual agreement between CDTC and the contracted consultant. CDTC is requesting proposals to complete an ADA Self-Evaluation and Transition Plan for one or more as yet unspecified municipalities in CDTC's planning area. CDTC will solicit municipalities interested and able to adopt and implement an ADA Self-Evaluation and Transition Plan outside of this scope of work. CDTC, on behalf of local member jurisdictions, will administer the consultant contract and will serve as project manager. Carrie Ward will serve as the project manager and will be the primary contact for technical and administrative questions either by phone 518-458-2161 or by email at cward@cdtcmpo.org. Please contact CDTC directly for a complete copy of the RFP either by calling 518-458-2161 or emailing cdtc@cdtcmpo.org. |
