| Description | The purpose of this project is to remove existing carpet from the patient waiting area, conference room, dental office, optometry office and pharmacy office and to replace the flooring in these areas with medical grade sheet vinyl flooring. This project will allow the current patient waiting area to be converted to a temporary patient care area for a surge of patients due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Installation of medical grade flooring is vital for infection control in these areas and will be completed with the following specifications: a) Removal and disposal of approximately 122 square feet of glue down (on concrete) carpet. b) Floor preparation for installation of vinyl sheet flooring, including floor leveling as needed. c) Installation of new medical grade sheet vinyl flooring in the same areas. Materials included: a. approximately 140 square feet flooring b. approximately 394 linear feet of 4 inch rubber cove material c. approximately 30 linear feet of rubber transition d. appropriate adhesives, vinyl weld-rod and other miscellaneous materials |
