Description | PROJECT DESCRIPTION A. Project 1 is for a full cleanout one time per year at the North Side and South Side wastewater pump stations wet well. 1. Full cleanout includes removal of residue and debris from the sides and bottom of the wet well and power washing of the sides and bottom of the well. 2. Full clean out will be done on weekdays between the hours of 7:30 A.M. and 4:00 P.M. 3. This project for North Side and Southside pump stations requires bypass pumping. The cost of bypass pumping is incidental to the prices bid for line item 101. B. Project 2 is to “skim clean” floatables at the North Side and South Side wastewater pump stations wet well quarterly. 1. Normal working hours for “skim cleaning” are 7:30 A.M. to 4:00 P.M. Monday thru Friday. However, the Vendor may work at other times and on weekends with prior approval from City management. C. Project 3 is to provide an hourly rate for the following items which will be used for full cleanouts at the City’s smaller stations, see Locations 2.B below. These cleanouts with be requested as needed and will require a minimum of two (2) hours on site: 1.Vac/ Jet truck Vactor 2115 series or greater with one operator and one technician. Truck must be capable of 2500PSI @80GPM, have a minimum of 500 ft hose and a capacity of 15 yards waste. 2.Per ton disposal fee for debris including all fees and hauling. 3.Transfer pump truck with operator to assist with hauling of waste material. Truck must hold at least 1000 gallons and have all necessary hoses, fittings and any other items needed to allow for transfer from vac truck. 4.Additional technician labor where additional support is required. |
