Description

Plumbing and HVAC Vocational Training Services located at Federal Correctional Institution (FCI), Fort Dix, New Jersey. The NAICS Code is 611210. The Contractor shall provide services at Federal Correctional Institution, Fort Dix, 5756 Hartford & Pointville Rd, Joint Base MDL, NJ 08640 on the West compound in the Low security FCI. A session is defined as one hour. The contractor will normally provide 7 (1) hour sessions per day, 5 days per week, excluding Federal Holidays. Work hours will normally be between 7:30 AM to 3:30 PM with a 30-minute unpaid lunch break. These hours may be adjusted to meet the needs of the institution. The contractor shall not normally exceed 35 hours per week. Both programs will consist of an estimated 960 sessions. The Supervisor of Education shall determine the number of enrollments not to exceed 20 students at any one time. This will be an estimated total of 19,200 sessions per year (960 sessions * 20 inmates = 19,200) for each program. The Supervisor of Education will screen potential students to the greatest degree possible to omit students eligible for release or transfer within the time from of the scheduled class. The Supervisor of Education will replace students that drop the program with new students on a one-for-one basis up through the first month of scheduled classes. Dropped, transferred, or removed students after the first month of class will not be paid for by the government. The contractor will provide the following supplies, equipment, and curriculum materials: Textbooks. The contractor will make recommendations to the Supervisor of Education pertaining to the selection and purchase of additional supplies and equipment. The institution will provide the following supplies, equipment, and curriculum materials: Plumbing and HVAC equipment and supplies, tools.
