| Description | Provide roof maintenance and repair services at the State Capitol Facilities and the Old State House. The State Capitol Facilities is defined to include: the State Capitol Building, located at 210 Capitol Avenue, Hartford, Connecticut, as well as the Legislative Office Building and Legislative Parking Garage, located at 300 Capitol Avenue, Hartford, Connecticut. The Old State House is located at 800 Main Street, Hartford, Connecticut. On-call repair services specific to the State Capitol Building and the Old State House, to be requested by the CGA as described in this section, shall include, but are not limited to: (a) Slate roof repairs, including replacement of damaged or missing slate roofing; (b) Repairs to and replacement of the copper roofing material and stainless gutter material, to include downspouts and covers; (c) Repairs to flashing and caulking; (d) Reattachment of snow guards, lightning rods, clips, cables, heat trace cables, and bird spikes; (e) Repairs to and painting of roof-mounted flagpoles, flagpole ropes, cleats, and hardware; (f) Painting of upper parapet windows; (g) Snow and ice removal; (h) Special inspections and roof condition assessments following any severe or abnormal weather conditions, including but not limited to hurricanes and hailstorms; and (i) Repairs to the west and east skylights at the State Capitol Building; | ||
