| Description | Town of orient Incorporated April 9, 1856 82 School House Road Unit #57, Orient, Maine 04471 Phone 207-448-7729, Fax 207-521-5202 Snow plow contract bid specifications 2022-2023 This is for a one-year contract for winter roads and public facility yard maintenance. (Plowing, sanding, and salting) The contract price is based on 10.28 miles of road, Municipal Office, Transfer Station and 4 School Bus Turns. The roads included in the contract are as follows: 1. School House Road .91 miles 2. Peters Cove Road 1.24 miles 3. Boundary Road 3.07 miles 4. Sunset Park Road .59 miles 5. Maxell Settlement Road .86 miles 6. Number Nine Road 3.11 miles 7. Public Landing Road .50 miles Total Town Road Miles 10.28 miles To be plowed and/or shoveled, and sanded in addition to roads: 1. Orient Transfer Station 2. Town Office yard 3. School Bus Turns (4) The contractor will be responsible for stockpiling the salt/sand at the Town's designated site. The Town will supply the sand and salt to be stockpiled. Contractor will furnish all necessary equipment and manpower, as well as certificates of vehicle/general liability ($450,000) and workers' comp insurance. |
