Description

Consists of the reconstruction of three existing alleys at various locations in the Village of River Forest. The existing alleys consist of pavement surfaces of varying in thickness. This project includes the removal of the existing pavement and excavation for the proposed pavement and pervious paver cross section. A three-foot wide strip of pervious pavers will be placed along the middle of the alley with the adjacent sides to be reconstructed with concrete. The improvements will include a perforated underdrain along the centerline of each alley, as well as connection to the existing sewer system. The alleys are surrounded by residential properties on all sides
