South Hall Hot Water Recirculation System

Install a Hot Water recirculation system into the existing domestic hot water system for South Hall. South Hall consist of two wings, a four (4) floor South wing and a three (3) floor North wing. Tie into the main domestic hot water line at or near the end of each main run on every floor for both wings. Install isolation valves at the tie in point and balancing valve with flow meter. This would be the branch line for the recirculation system (total 7). Install a riser recirculation line up each wing to tie the branch lines into (2). Install the riser line back to the mechanical room on the first floor. Install a set of recirculation pump (parallel) as a primary and back-up into the feed water supply of to the two (2) instantaneous hot water heaters. Each pump requires individual isolation valves and local disconnect switches. After installation the system will be balanced and verified.
