Architect and Engineer Services

The Work is to provide design and other related services as necessary over a one (1) year time frame (with an option to renew the contract at Portage Metropolitan Housing Authority discretion) for its 303 Public Housing units located at eight developments and fifty-eight (58) units located at thirty-nine (39) scattered sites. I.SCOPE OF SERVICES The Portage Metropolitan Housing Authority will accept competitive Requests for Qualifications for an Architect/Engineer firm that shall provide all professional design and consultant services necessary for the successful completion of the project(s), which include but are not limited to: review and verification of program requirements, validation of existing site conditions (but not subsurface or hidden conditions), preparation of cost estimates and design schedules for the project(s). Fees may be negotiated and allocated for additional services (e.g. creation of an extensive evaluation or validation of site conditions, extensive pre-design investigations, special code-related inspections and/or testing. Projects will include, but will not be limited to: complete interior and exterior renovations of single family and multifamily dwellings, building foundations/drainage issues, masonry, carpentry, concrete pads, sidewalks, driveways and parking lots, etc. Minority Business Enterprise, Section 3 Business Concern, and/or Women Owned Business.
