Decatur Street Concrete Paving Between Rail Crossings

Scope: The work to include concrete paving per GDOT details between the Norfolk Southern rail crossing 732890E and Georgia Central rail crossing 641049D along Decatur Street in Dublin, Georgia. The paving will be approximately 30 feet wide and 56 feet long. An expansion joint will be placed at each end of the paving section. Three contraction joints will be placed at each end of the paving section. Three contraction joints will be provided, spaced approximately 15 feet apart. A traverse joint shall be provided in the center of the slab. One stop sign and post shall be replaced on the north side of the crossing. The associated driveways leading from the road shall be demolished and replaced as necessary to match the grade of the new roadway.
