Contract No.: GP-010 Water System Improvements Transmission & Distribution Mains Willet Rd., Abbott Rd. And North Dr. City Of Lackawanna, Town Of Hamburg And Orchard Park, NY The Work consists of a single contract for the construction of water transmission and distribution system improvements to include: abandonment-in-place of existing 24, 16, 12, 8, 6 and 4 inch water mains (16,500+/- linear feet total); installation of new 24, 16, 12, 10 and 8 inch Ductile Iron Pipe water transmission and distribution piping (16,700+/- linear feet total), 6 inch Ductile Iron Pipe hydrant branches (600+/- linear feet total) and appurtenances within the public rights-of-way; interconnections to existing the existing 24 inch Pre-stressed Concrete Cylinder Pipe and Cast Iron Pipe water transmission mains; and to existing 16, 12, 10, 8 and 6 inch water distribution piping; Jack and Bore installation of 24 inch diameter Ductile Iron Pipe through 42 inch diameter steel casing under Buffalo-Pittsburgh, Inc. at-grade Railroad Crossing; testing and disinfection; replacement of existing water services with connections to the new water mains; and associated restoration of pavements, driveways, sidewalks, and lawn areas.
